Today, the House of Representatives actually passed a Law–one extending the ban against undetectable guns. These are the ones that can be carved in wood, or printed, using plastic, on a 3-D Printer. Unless they have a metal element in them, they cannot be detected at airport security points. Don’t get excited, Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) hasn’t turned to the “Bright Side”.

It’s important to remember that the Gun Industry doesn’t deal in wood carvings or home-made plastic printed weapons. Such Gun Makers perhaps look at wood and plastic pistols as being more of a cottage industry, at least so far, and more like competition. So, their money will keep funding the National Rifle Association, which is a key lobby to Congress on their behalf, and a very important campaign contributor in favor of just about any weapons or ammunition.
