So far, I believe that there is more smoke than fire in this situation.  Republicans are trying to place anything and everything wrong with the Country on President Obama’s back–whether the facts actually back that up or not.  I am still waiting to see Speaker John Boehner’s (R-OH) first Bill to improve the Jobs Situation brought to the House Floor for a vote this year.  But, let me point-out something that came out overnight.

Lindsay Mills, NSA leaker Edward Snowden’s Girlfriend, has been identified.  She is a former ballerina, who works for an acrobatic dance troupe in Hawaii, as noted in The Telegraph of the U.K., http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/10111992/Edward-Snowdens-girlfriend-revealed-to-be-former-ballet-dancer.html.

Now, he chose to reveal highly-classified information to The Guardian (newspaper) of the U.K., regarding the National Security Agency having access to certain electronic communication information.  Is Mr. Snowden a whistleblower or a traitor?  Well, consider that he is wanted for leaking the fact that the NSA can cross-reference who you call, or receive calls from.  The same probably goes for Email, Twitter, Facebook contact, etc.

Think about it:  the Government can identify your INcoming and OUTgoing communications and, also, what would be a key way to track his whereabouts?  The very source that he is leaking information about might be the best way to track him down.  He was in Hong Kong; however, he checked-out. Where is he going: China; Iceland; Russia; etc?  Basically, he is delving in information regarding his own guilt.

I have been kicking the various facts and innuendo regarding this case, and I continue to have trouble separating the wheat from the chaff.  It would be much easier if the rabble rousers would stop trying to drum-up panic, and the political aspects would just go away.

Don’t place any significance in the fact that this story was first broken by The Guardian of the U.K., and I have linked another U.K. newspaper. These are major U.K. newspapers and certainly would have a presence in Hong Kong, a former Commonwealth Colony, and now a separately-governed Territory of China.
