MITTEN MIGHT HAVE FINALLY DONE IT THIS TIME!

If you have been watching Mr. Etch-A-Sketch closely, you might have noticed that you have to write whatever Romney says in pencil. And, if he doesn’t disavow it, generally his staff will. But, in his fight for the State of Ohio, he finally said something that is outright nonsense…once again. But, this time, he won’t be able to take his own words back.

Yesterday, in a “Victory Campaign” in Defiance Ohio, he claimed that Chrysler Motors’ Jeep Division was moving all of its production to China. Jeep immediately issued a Press Release, contradicting that statement, by Mitt Romney. In fact, Jeep is adding shifts–and jobs–in the U.S. It will, however, also increase overseas production for those markets.

The linked article, Tom Walsh: Romney keeps returning to auto industry, a vulnerable spot points this out, http://www.freep.com/article/20121026/COL06/121026070/Tom-Walsh-Romney-keeps-returning-to-auto-industry-a-vulnerable-spot. The article is from the Detroit Fee Press, which is the major newspaper in Michigan.

For a laugh, I have linked an article, Jeep Considers Outsourcing to China, in the heavily-biased Vigilant Vote, http://blog.vigilantvote.com/.

Lastly, from the Chrysler web site, I have linked “Jeep in China”
by Gualberto Ranieri, http://blog.chryslerllc.com/blog.do?p=entry&id=1932, which clearly states that US production is not being transferred overseas.

So, let’s hope that this finally puts Mitt Romney out of his misery, and send him back to, as British Prime Minister, David Cameron, said: :…the Middle of Nowhere”.

Maybe he meant the toy models! Bill Maher mentioned on his show Friday that they took an international poll (he didn’t say if it was of leaders or population), and of, I think, 20 nations, 19 wanted Obama to remain president. I forgot who the outlier was….it was some middle eastern country.
Meanwhile, if you know anyone in the northeast, urge them, while they’re getting all their hurricane supplies, to vote early. Who knows how long power will be out?
