Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have evoked numerous lies regarding a wide array of issues over the course of the Presidential Election. Mitt was for some of the components of the Affordable (Health) Care Act; however, the very next day, he was going to repeal “ObamaCare”, in its entirety. Mitt wants to replace the $716 Billion that the Health Industry was willing to forego in order to improve and extend Medicare by giving the money back to the Health Care Industry. More recently, he noted that he cannot be bothered by the 47% of Americans who do not pay taxes only to suggest, on the following day, that he was really trying to help 100% of all Americans.

Campaigning in Ohio recently, he has been claiming that he never advocated to “Let Detroit go Bankrupt”. He did write an Op-Ed, however, in the NY Times, published on November 18, 2008, suggesting that the US do just that, which is linked as follows: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/19/opinion/19romney.html?pagewanted=print. Now, he claims that he had wanted to re-structure the Auto Industry, not force it into bankruptcy.

Both Mitt and Paul must be having an identity crisis. Romney had to move so far to the right to win the Republican Primaries and, now, he has to kiss-up to the Tea Party and the Ultra Right-Wing. Ryan has curtailed some of his views in order to defer to Romney. So, they are both trying to be something that they are not.
